Escapade usually has great meta panels.
'Bushwhacked'
Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Escapade sounds like a fun con.
I've been going for -- Christ, how many times is it, now? I think it's probably four years. It's meta meta meta, vid show, meta meta meta, margarita big as your head, meta meta meta, come into the con suite and watch this little girl!, meta meta meta, bartender bring me another while we meta!
It's fun.
They've posted the schedule, by the way. I think the only important thing we'll be missing is the House panel, alas. If vid review goes the way it did last year, I don't think missing it will be a great loss.

That's what VividCon is for.

Man, that sounds like a blast.

That sounds like loads of fun. I haven't been to a con since the '90s--I expect it's a whole new experience now.
That's what VividCon is for.
And we can just have our own mini-House panel in the car on the way to the airport.
Escapade sounds fascinating. Its name makes it a tough Google though.
It's a very long-running slash convention, Mikey. And while the meta panels are not exclusively slash, they are heavily slanted that way.
Oh, for next week's SGA, do not read the TiVo plot summary (or I expect, most any summary that comes from the same source) because it gives away a vital plot point. Having watched the show without the spoiler, I would have been pissed to find it out in advance.
