A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
(One assumes it didn't have anything to do with CJ's skin color, but that's an assumption that's hard to test.)
Unless it's the whole gold tint... When exactly did they drop that, I wonder?
I'm assuming it has to do with the fact that Teal'c is very serious and reserved.
Having seen Chris Judge interviewed, I have no doubt that off-camera hi-larity infused the set.
Trying to look up when the gold tint went away, I found this via Google:
"O'Neill" he said. "Have you not noticed that I alone among the Jaffa have a gold tint to my skin?"
"Yeah, so you're a little sparkly."
"It is because I am an elf."
I'm assuming it has to do with the fact that Teal'c is very serious and reserved.
That's never stopped ficcers before.
Nothing stops a determined ficcer. Not even logic, internal or otherwise.
Wasn't Jim from The Sentinel serious and reserved? You could fill a Cray with the slashfic from that fandom...
He's a Clam!
I'm going to have to find a livejournal entry to explain that now, aren't I.

Yes. (DVDs! DVDs! Ahem. Sorry. Excited about that.)

You would, except that fandom is so bizarre that talking about clams doesn't even sound out of the ordinary.
"It is because I am an elf."
Bwah!
He's a Clam!
Is this a Scientology thing?
It's a panel from last year's Escapade. Kass has a good report here, except that they classified Jim as a Curmudgeon rather than a Clam.
Thanks, Dana!
Escapade sounds like a fun con.
