Kinda inevitable, though. I know a couple of the B5 commentaries and/or docos have people commenting about Andreas always being out the back smoking cigarettes.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Oh, here's some pretty.
Huh. The first Dr. Weir is on Supernatural. She looks way better as a blonde.
And some of those pics are totally going provocateuse.
There's a very nice wet one I don't think I've seen anyone post before.
I love the foetal position one, especially since he's so dressed. What ep was that from?
Look at the Princess, after Scorpy shows up and he gets blackmailed into getting married.
Sweet.
Damn. Suela's bringing the guh tonight.
On account of Netflix, being out of Farscape, and wanting some sci-fi to round out my usual fare of Mountie, Mountie, Mountie (RayRayRay), we've started watching SG-1 from the beginning.
I have questions.
So, umm... when the pilot aired, was the full-frontal nudity part of it?
Also, is that as slashy as Jack and Teal'c get? They were so broccoli.
And, oh yeah, while I'd normally be saying "Point me to fic!", I already know where to find it, so in this case, can someone point me to some feminist crits of the show?

Yup. It started on Showtime, so the nudity was there. They snip that when they re-air the pilot on SciFi.
I'm still bummed they recast Sha're: the actress from the movie was far superior.
As for Jack and Teal'c, they do have that bond, but Jack banters more with Daniel, so the slashers mostly glommed onto that. (One assumes it didn't have anything to do with CJ's skin color, but that's an assumption that's hard to test.)
I don't know of anyone specifically writing feminist critiques of the show, Plei -- it so obviously fails in the feminism department that I don't know anyone bothering to even talk about it. They do a pretty sorry job with Sam Carter, and the only other female regular is the base doctor, who spends every episode but one being nurturing. The one she doesn't nurture in, has its own problems. (Hathor)
