If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I've been skimming, but are we talking about Snakes on a Plane, or some other SFC "classic"?

If I only had a brain...

I have a new favorite bad movie: "The First Emperor of China" on the Discovery Channel.

Emperor, on discovering that his mother has two children by her lover, a eunuch: "SOME EUNUCH!"

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I was flipping through the online guide on Sunday, and I think every movie on SciFi had the words "genetically engineered" in the blurb.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

vortex, we're talking about "Boa vs. Python". There are snakes. But I don't believe they are on planes at any point. to make up for it, though, they are gigantic! And maul people and bite them in half!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I think every movie on SciFi had the words "genetically engineered" in the blurb.

They seem to like their weekend theme movies. Last Saturday it was Killer Bees and Wasps. Good movies to have on while re-arranging the livingroom furniture.

Maybe they'll take a page from Boa vs. Python and make a movie about giant, genetically engineered bees fighting GGE wasps.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Boa v Python will be airing on SciFi again on I think 2/8? My TiVo is set to go.

Awesome.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I realize the fact that their Saturday night original movies are formulaic is half of the fun, but I'm wondering if they're running out of stuff to do....

Everything is pretty much "icky creature" + "genetic engineering" = "MONSTER." And the icky creatures are either insects or reptiles. Or sharks. Maybe they should expand their pool of icky creatures.

I know - how about having a city overrun by giant, genetically-engineered ex-presidents? That, um, fly. And spit venom.
