Your tag here.

This isn't a very fun episode. I'm having a hard time watching.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

OK, I'm half way through (on TiVo delay) and... wow. This episode sort of blows. And I don't think I've ever thought that about an episode of this show, even for "Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down". I mean, why kill Fisk, who was showing such an interesting ambiguity in previous episodes? And the whole thing with Lee and the prostitute is, frankly, a bit embarrassing. Add to that weird random flashbacks about a woman who've never heard of, and I really don't know where the hell we're going. And the whole Lee/Dualla thing feels like we've skipped an episode. Actually, make that several episodes. Sloppy.

Our wings are not tired.

Odd. But didn't mind that Lee shot the dude.

Hrmph. No battles.

I like the genre-mixing episodes, because I like seeing them experiment. So just for that, I liked it more than last week's, but I think they need stricter limits on cliches.

We certainly appear to have hit the character-delving portion of the season. I'm not sure that's playing to their strengths.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

It reminded me of a Lost episode, with the ambiguous flashbacks.

Next week doesn't look good either.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I feel like they've had new writers the past 2 eps.

I do like that, now that the Cylon fleet is no longer an immediate threat, all of our main characters are kind of lost. The rest of the fleet's been off having this whole other society, and they missed it!

The space mafia makes sense to me. If there's a criminal underworld, it makes sense for someone to be on top of it. (However, both DH and I thought that Lee was going to become the new Godfather at the end there. Kind of disappointed that didn't happen.)

Hmm, the second half of the BSG was a smidgeon better, but not by much. I don't know... the whole Lee angst felt very manufactured and inorganic. It'd been better if there were even a small mention of this all important woman in Lee's past in the previous episodes, but no. I did like that Lee shot the dude.

I LOVED tonight's episode of Atlantis when I first saw it, so I've watched it again just now, which has put me in the happy, happy place. David Hewlett and Amanda Tapping were fabulous together. What a terrific character piece, plus humor, angst, team-love, good Zelenka, and WHALE! *love*

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Strega, I thought of your earlier request for stories about civilian life because I am discovering that stories about civilian life...suck.

I'm with Vonnie (surprise!) on not liking this episode very much.

Next week doesn't look good either.

Next week looks even worse. I'm afraid.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

It felt kinda flat to me. But that's because although I love loooking at Lee, his unthinking nobility kinda bores me. Actually it really annoys me. He'a bout as smart as Angel. I think there is place for Nobility - but you need to think to get there. And I don't think Lee needed to pay for sex, he chose to pay for sex. that way he could live the fantasy he felt like living. We've seen one episode - where D and lee were sparing - there seemed to be something going on .

by the way, Baltar is such a baby.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I haven't been watching the Stargates, due to sheer ennui, but I caught them tonight.

To sum up: Jaffa politics: yawn. Mitchell: yum. McKay: aww. Sheppard: yum. ALIENWHALE!: cool.

I guess I'll start watching again.
