I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Probably nothing, unless you're the assassin

Which is why I thought it was a weird objection.

If the failed assassination was one that hides the hand but not the brain of the killing, every Galactite on Pegasus is just as toast as if they see Kara raising the gun herself.

Which, from the trailer, it doesn't quite look like.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

If the failed assassination was one that hides the hand but not the brain of the killing

True. Better to find a Lee Harvey Oswald figure. Blame it all on the beefy XO (who reminds me a great deal of J. T. Walsh), or on the Practically Invisible Sebastian Spence. Or -- actually, we've only met like three people in that crew, haven't we? Three people and a thousand redshirts.

Galactite

Ha! What are the Pegasus people called? Wingers?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

The thing is, though, the possible sacrifice of Kara seems like a high price to pay (although she might be seen as working rogue, in the LHO model, since she's not completely gotten along with anyone, thus hiding the brain behind the assassination), as she is a very valuable crew-member. However, Adama's logic may be that it can't really be anyone else.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

No one else would be able to get close enough to Cain, right?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Something along those lines.

If I only had a brain...

Lee Harvey Oswald figure.

You can probably get one from Archie McPhee.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Now I'm imagining a whole set of Sondheim character action figures.

If I only had a brain...

How much continuity does Highlander have? If I skip direct from the end of S1 to the beginning of S2, do I miss anything important? Signed, yes, I am Methos-centric.

The inter-season hiatus.

All is well that ends in pizza.

A show All About Vulcans wouldn't be very entertaining.

Unless it was a sitcom about a group of Vulcans who are stuck in a constant state of Pon Farr.

Or they could be evil Vulcans.

"You've grown a goatee."

"Your grasp of the obvious is well known"

"Thank you." He pauses and continues, "Is there any particular reason you've chosen to grow a goatee?"

"I"ve decided to turn evil."

"Ah."

"It seemed the logical thing to do."

"Indeed."
