GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

and it CONTINUALLY amazing me that Kristin Kruek is the only actress who read for Lana.

Really? Wow. I hadn't heard that before.

I would have thought if you were going to go with someone who had a physical appearance different than the classic depiction of the character (dark eyed brunette versus light-eyed redhead) it would have been after seeing a bunch of different actors and deciding that this one was right for the job, physical discrepancy aside.

I suspect she may be a robot, because no human being has skin that smooth.

Oh, come on, it's just a natural result of her using Noxema or Neutragena or whatever N-brand skin crap she was shilling for awhile.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Well, she's very pretty.

That's the thing -- she is very pretty, and the character's very nice, but... at least when I was watching, it seems like that's all they'd thought of for the character -- "Let's make her pretty and really nice!" That's not a character.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

For her looks, I consider her only pretty. Passably interesting, but not an exemplary member of the class.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Well, if you cast Kristin Kreuk as the love interest, you're stacking the deck against it

She was pretty awesome in Eurotrip. In a Whedon show, I think she'd have blossomed.

Well, she's very pretty. In an Inara's-Little-Sister kind of way. Evidently they were looking for eyecandy rather than thespian skills...and, to be fair, this is what got Tom Welling cast. So I can live with it.

I don't think that she's that pretty. Certainly attractive, but I wouldn't notice her in a crowd unless she was wearing a really cool dress or something.

I think KK is very pretty, to an almost unreal degree sometimes (see Jessica's comments about her skin.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If KK and Cillian Murphy were cast as Dakota Fanning's parents in something, it would be the creepiest movie ever.
