Br and Bs?
Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I kind of like Bro and Bri. Then there's always Dic and Lloyd.
Oh geez, it was a joke. I'm sorry. Come back! I'll be good, I promise.
I had a very surreal moment today watching Inside Deep Throat at the movies because I finally realized why Ben Browder has looked so inexplicably familiar to me all these years. Back in the 70s, Phil Donahue strongly resembled him, particularly around the eyes.
Phil?!
Now HE's involved in the crazy naming scheme of things?
Watching the special the BBC presented before the new Dr. Who. It's called Doctor Who: A New Dimension.
Colin Baker (Blonde Doctor, frizzy hair, clown clothes) has physically changed radically. I realize he's 20 years older, but woah.
Both that and the new ep is at btefnet dot net.
I was thinking about why I watch BSG and never really got in to SG.
the first part is that I love post-apocolyptic stories. I even have dreams that are about such things - lucid dreams. I think the second thing is that I love mythology/religion in story telling. BTVS - season 7, even though there were things that I felt were flawed- it really investigated the mythology and found the truth in it. And though I suspect we won't get a full picture of the religion of BSG, I am really intrigued by the glimpses we are getting of it.

Perhaps he's suffered some deleterious effects from the ill wishes of millions of Doctor Who fans? Dude was Not Popular.
Matt, know what's driving me nuts? S2 Browder, upside down on his Pilates ball, has a disturbing resemblance to young Mel Gibson.
I must confess one thing about my own inability to get into Stargate of either manifestation. It's how they handle certain aspects of human mythology. The Asgards are a big case in point. I have friends who are Norse pagans. I attend some of their rituals and have worked with some of their gods. The mental disconnect I get seeing a bug-eyed gray alien called Thor is a bit too much for me to handle for long.
