Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Pruitt Taylor Vince'

Loved him in Nobody's Fool. And in the American version of Touching Evil.

Compassionately intolerant

And in the American version of Touching Evil.

Not available on netflix, dern it. But I remember seeing Nobody's Fool when it came out. Paul Newman...sigh. Just watched him in Empire Falls, which I wanted to love more than I did.

Thanks for mentioning NF, Beverly. You led me to 'flix my favorite movie of that title...a quirky rom/com ('86) with Eric Roberts and Rosanna Arquette. Can't wait to see if it holds up to my misty memory of it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Paramount confirmed to the Hollywood North Report Web site that it will re-release Star Trek: The Animated Series on DVD in mid-to-late 2006.

Yay! I have not seen any of these since they first aired.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The Alien Nation DVD set coming out on January 3rd has a suggested pairing with Serenity on amazon.com...

Art Crawl!!!

Damn, I was going to ask if anyone heard when MI-5 is going to air, but then I remembered that we can't discuss that show here.

Uh, is there going to be a BSG marathon prior to January 6th? Or does Sci-Fi think that releasing the half-season dvds suffices?

(Because, I have them, but it's somehow more fun to watch on tv rather than dvd.)

Also, I saw part of a 24 marathon (Day 3) that had the actor who is going to be Harry Dresden in SciFi's version of the Dresden Files and he is certainly FINE, but not really my idea of what Harry Dresden looks like.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Seth Cohen in Boxed Set?

Adam Brody is going behind the TV camera. "The O.C." star has teamed with Doug Liman and Dave Bartis' Hypnotic to develop a series project for NBC based on Brody's idea. Additionally, Hypnotic has set up "The Gift," a drama at WB Network. Both projects are co-produced with the NBC Universal Television Studio, where Hypnotic has a first-look deal. The untitled drama for NBC centers on a rookie cop who joins a special unit of the LAPD that tracks the vampire population

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Well, considering we've got a blond Irish actress playing Susan and a brunette Hispanic woman playing Murphy, and a 20-something playing Ancient Mai, I'm kind of glad they at least have someone really tall and dark-haired to play Harry.

They did manage, apparently, to find a 30-pound house cat to play Mister, though: [link]

I saw Harry Maybourne (Tom McBeath) from SG-1 on an episode of Da Vinci's Inquest last night. I don't think I've seen an episode yet that didn't have someone I've seen on SG-1 on it...

That'll happen--the guy who plays Leary was on SG1, and isn't he always on DVI?

Matt, I watched the S6 episode in question, and Joe chastises Methos for using the Chronicles to keep tabs on people, but states that the Watchers were started by someone else.
