I love Blank Reg! Sheppard something, isn't that his name?

Some brilliant fannish type encoded a bunch of Max Headroom a year or so ago, so I torrented them: I think I've got 8 episodes. Yay me! I haven't watched more than one or two, though, and I still don't have the American Pilot, with the Right Murray.

Yeah. William Sheppard, IIRC.

I still don't have the American Pilot, with the Right Murray.

Which, oddly enough, may be the ONE episode I can still track down, because it was taped on the same tape as Aliens, and was thus with my parents' tapes, not mine, so survived my brother decorating his bedroom with, well, the tape. I should see if they still have it, and if Paul can salvage it for me at work.

Max Headroom is on my short list of the best television series of all time. I wish they'd do a Max Headroom DVD set. I do have a set of bootleg CDs that I got somewhere on the internets. They're a bit fuzzy and hard to navigate, but Max Headroom! (Blank Reg's female companion's name was Dominique. Their exact relationship was never really clear.)

Since you're here, Plei, did you still want... what was it, oh, Spooks S3/4? I might be able to burn you some dvds this week, since I finished my ficathon assignment.

Oh! Yeah!

I was going to send you email about that or something, wasn't I?

And yes.

(And hey! Sheppard the Younger was in the X-Files episode with Amanda Pays [Fire aka the one where I decided she wasn't aging well and/or my taste in women had changed a lot], thus providing an Additional Trivia Connecting Link, in case anyone was needing one.)

I've seen him as Morgan Shepherd & W. Morgan /Shepherd as well. I love his voice. He was on B5 as a Soulhunter and a Narn, and I'd recognize him as soon as he started talking. And he's in Hawk the Slayer, too. He's probably the only person who didn't deserve to be in it.

I wish I had these on VHS
Want my tapes, when I'm done copying them? I'm putting my tapes onto DVD to save space, so I'd rather give them to someone than toss them in the trash. (I'm also hoping that if I go through the effort of copying them, the gods will be satisfied and a DVD set will be released.) I'm pretty sure I have them all; they're not the best quality but they are ad-free, from when Bravo ran them years back. Or I can burn another set of DVD copies, but that'll take a little longer.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I love that W. Morgan Sheppard has been in like every cheesy genre show and movie ever made. I think I first became aware of him on the Werewolf TV series, and I know he's been a Klingon at some point. But I think my favorite performance is his turn as the villain of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Is shalott and Speranza's vid spoilery?

And Suela, any chance I could get you to burn me a copy of Spooks 3.4? I'd write you a snippet (or pay your costs, of course).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dana -- I offered to try YSI that for you. You interested?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Did you? I knew someone had responded, but I got up at 6 this morning and drove for 6 hours, so I'm kind of out of it.

Yes, I'm definitely interested, except not right now, since I'm in New Orleans. Remind me to remind you later.

Also, since I'm here, did you want me to drive by your storage place, or are you just happier not knowing?
