Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think BSG is better than SG1, but if I had to dump one, it'd be BSG in a heartbeat. I don't well with the love and the cheering and get dopey buzzes from him.

Apollo's a dick, Starbuck's a dick, Adama's a git, Baltar's a loon, Galactica!Boomer's a whiner ... it doesn't make the narrative uncompelling (let me rather consider the opposite), but the character love is just not possible for me.

The urge to be in a Helo/Apollo sandwich, though -- uncompromised.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I love most of the characters and most of the stories so far on BSG.

SG-1 only inspires a meh-ish like from me, despite the fact that I've seen a lot of it, and don't think poorly of the show. Somehow it's just never really grabbed me.

BSG on the other hand, grabbed me from the start and hasn't let go.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Apollo used his position as Starbuck's commander to harass her about her choice of sexual partner.

SO SKANKY. Where did that come from, anyway? We've seen hints of attraction, but all of a sudden there's this completely inappropriate possessiveness. Dear Lee: It really isn't any of your business who Kara's screwing. If it's against regs for her to be screwing the VP--which it may very well be--then say so, and do it professionally. Otherwise, butt the hell out.

I really felt like there was an episode missing somewhere between Colonial Day and Kobol's Last Gleaming. Something to establish Kara sleeping with Gaius and Kara and Lee having weird tension (as opposed to the bouncy happy tension they had last week) and Boomer being suicidally depressed.

On a happier note, how 'bout that BB in dress blues, huh? (Warning, minor spoilers in the text.)

Rodney's face, when he realized what Sheppard was doing. Man.

I know! I feel more sorry for him knowing that he'll be getting his head taken off by Rodney when he gets back than I do about how he's sacrificing himself to save Atlantis.

Kara and Gaius had had a fair amount of pokery tension, hadn't they? Also, he's a slut.

Oh my god. About Katie's link:

Um. The beard. I didn't know about the beard. And it's freaking me out a little. Is it... will it, you know, go away? I mean, maybe it looks good. I don't know. I just was not expecting that third picture. At all. Wow .

BB looks wonderful. Can't believe I missed it.

Oh, Ben looks good. I squeed. They kept his hair short!

how 'bout that BB in dress blues,

I read this as "in a blue dress". I think the weirdest part was that it didn't seem that weird.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Well, not if you've seen Farscape and all the getups they've put him in.

Really, at this point I wouldn't be surprised to see Mr. Met unzip the mascot suit and reveal Ben.
