GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Well, I've never seen him act so I don't know if he can actually be Harry, but he looks the part and has the height going for him, at least.

Art Crawl!!!

He was in 24 - can't think of which season.

I checked epguides: he was in during Day 3.

I've never watched 24 or anything else listed on his IMDB resume. (I watched the Alan Alda episodes of ER, but he wasn't in those particular episodes, I don't think.)

All is well that ends in pizza.

Watching Smallville. Well, more like listening to it. Reception is not unlike a sonogram from 1980.

Art Crawl!!!

Is "Sliver" a canonical Supes story?

JM's accent didn't bother me nearly as much this week.

I can't believe that they're going to have Jonathan Kent run for state senate.

Also, when Chloe said that she would die before she betrayed Clark's secret -- did you think that was foreshadowing?

This episode would have been a lot more interesting if the previews hadn't pretty much said "Clark gets infected with silver kryptonite and goes crazy." I mean, the teaser is pretty much worthless if you know that.

As for a real Superman story, I don't know, but silver kryptonite doesn't exist in canon. (Nor does black for that matter. And red generally causes weird mutations instead of making Superman evil.)

Yeah, I thought Chloe's "I'd die first" line sounded rather foreshadowy considering we were told someone is going to die to pay for Clark's resurrection. Couple that with Chloe never existing in DC canon, and it makes her the easiest target. Which would suck, as she's most of the reason I still watch at this point.

Also, what's up with Braniac being super-smart, a mix of X-Files black oil and the T1000, and having all of Clark's powers? He's like a villain designed by a 12-year old Dungeon Master out to kill all of his player's characters. I mean, he's still interesting so far, but the powers are getting to be overkill.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What are folks doing Saturday night?

Once again, the SciFi Channel is bringing us more original programming goodness:

Locusts: The 8th Plague

Genetic engineering was meant to change nature's scourge into the perfect insecticide. Now their hunger has no limit, and human flesh has just become their new favorite food.

Obviously the genetic engineers haven't ever watched the SciFi Channel on Saturday night, or they'd know what horrors genetic engineering has brought upon us in the past.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think they need to do a big Destroy All Monsters crossover movie that reveals this deadly locust swarm and the sabertooth tiger and Frankenfish and Mansquito are all in the same fictional world.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

i'm waiting for No-See-Ums - the Invisible Menace. Think of the money they could save on special effects.
