'Dirty Girls'

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

Doesn't the House stuff go in Natter?

I hope we get to learn about the mommy/gf killing demon in next week's Supernatural.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, if I could read this thread without having to worry about House spoilers, I'd appreciate it.

If I only had a brain...

Haven't there been several wives? All of which didn't work out?

I think that in canon he's on his third wife and is already cheating. It's definitely been mentioned in the show that he's a multiple-time loser in marriage.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

House goes just about anywhere else. Not here. Header and slug altered, hopefully to clarify.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

My bad... I haven't made it into Natter yet, and when I think slash, I think Boxed Set.

(Ha, maybe that should go in the slug too.)

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

The slash-ness is in the slug.

Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

I've got three episodes worth of Supernatural on TiVo that I haven't watched yet. Does it remain watchable? I mean, the brothers are appealing enough, but I find myself frequently bored by the Evil Spirit of the Week. I liked the one with the mirror and the The Ring rip-off, but I wish the creep factor were higher on a consistent basis.

I rather liked Threshold from last Friday, because we had the revisitation of the dreams and the sight of the bloody cabbages with teeth was genuinely spooky. Plus, my boyfriend James Frain was in it. I also liked the consistancy of how the infectees used their own individual skills to propagate the transmission.

The writing still needs to be sharper though. It's got such good actors and a neat concept that I am often saddened by the sloppy writing and how that doesn't allow the show to live up to its potential. For example, we could have had more in-depth exploration of Lucas's faith if we had him actually at the scene of the case. I did love the line about how Lucas and Ramsey (can't really think of him as Arthur) have bonded and the acknowledgement of the conflict between Molly and Fenway.

I think that's already covered by the Big Gay Sex warning.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think that's already covered by the Big Gay Sex warning.

I like to think of it more as a promise.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Have you heard that Threshhold is being tested in a Tuesday slot on the 22nd and 29th? I forget if it's the 9 or 10PM slot, since my brain immediately went "NO MORE SHOWS ON TUESDAY, DAMNIT."

It's got such good actors and a neat concept, I am often saddened by the sloppy writing.

Isn't this one Brannon Braga's show? I lost track a little, with all of the sci-fi shows this season, but I'm pretty sure he's the executive producer on this. Not to be all Trek-bitter, but that may explain the sloppy writing.

Vonnie K - Nov 09, 2005 6:41:34 am PST #5239 of 10001
Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Yeah, I heard about the move. Thankfully, it's to the 10 PM slot so I don't have to do the 9 PM House/My Name Is Earl/Threshold juggling. (I think that new Geena Davis-as-president show and TAR are also in that time slot.) Thank GOD VM got moved to Wednesday.

Isn't this one Brannon Braga's show?

Heh. That's what I understand. I've never watched any trek except DS9 so I haven't personally experienced his wrong-doings, but I've heard people hiss venomously at his name like he's the Antichrist or something.
