Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, if I'd found Rygel funny, ever, I mightn't have disliked him so much. But there was nothing there for me to like, not even despite myself.

Vala -- she just doesn't add up for me. I feel like I'm being sold a pig in a poke.

I feel like I'm being sold a pig in a poke.

Ah, so that's what that piece of clothing is called...

ETA: pfeh, link didn't work.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I liked Rygel from the first. He was such an evil puppet. But, he did a few things that showed me that even his character grew.

Vala was such a waste of Claudia.

Vala was such a waste of Claudia.

I dunno. I mean, she had fun. That counts for something.

If I only had a brain...

I think Cameron is much more of a waste of Ben. He's not getting to do anything; Claudia is.

Indeed. I'm really wishing that they'd do something for him in the second half of the season. Not hoping, though, because I've got nothing to base that hope on. It's not like the writers have a history of giving their male leads really interesting meaty roles.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Isn't he crying in one of the promos from the second half? Hopefully that indicates at least one meaty episode for him to act in.

If I only had a brain...

Or, y'know, he found out that RDA renewed his contract after all.

I miss Jack, but Jack from seasons 2-6, not the way RDA's played him the last few times we've seen him. If that's the only way to have Jack, I don't want Jack back.

Given what we've seen of Mitchell, it's hard to imagine anything that would make him weep. Huh.

Unless they kill kids, that might do it. Dunno. I'm not spoiled for much beyond the one thing, so I guess we'll find out. In January.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Hence my ability to put up with Rygel (but not Jool).

Still failing to get the Jool hate. I found her annoying in a sympathetic way, and would have much rather had her than Sikozu around the ship in S4. Jool, I wanted to feed milk and cookies. Sikozu, I wanted to slap.

But then, I also loved Rygel.
