'Out Of Gas'

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Didn't they also once feed him something that changed it from helium to hydrogen or some other highly flammable gas?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yes, they did. Turned out to be the root that, after processing, turns into chakkan oil, the fuel for the guns.

Don't think too much about the science. It's Farscape, it will only hurt your head.

Ever fired your gun in the air and yelled, 'Aaaaaaah?'

New Doctor Who will be available for Canada on February 14, 2006. I am really excited for this. I was going to buy the Region 2 and get a region free DVD player but this'll be much cheaper. I can wait a few more months.

And I totally didn't get that Torchwood was an anagram for Doctor Who. That's shiny.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I guess some of the people at or around david-hewlett.co.uk got together and gave him...a Dalek. I'm not exactly sure.

But. He sent them a message thanking them all by name, urging them to send money to Doctors Without Borders in the future rather than buying him presents, and pictures of himself and his dog posing with the Dalek.

I think I actually am speechless, except it's nice to know that the object of my devotion is the kind of guy who'll take goofy pictures with a Dalek.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Those pictures are possibly the cutest things I've ever seen, and that's including all the pictures of baby animals and actual babies.

I also loved that he thanked each and every one who sent the gift by name. And the whole Doctors Without Borders thing! Like, it's not possible the dude gets any more lovable. I don't usually care to learn to much about the actors behind the characters I love, but DH does come across like a smashing guy (and the ultimate geek crush object) from all accounts.

If I only had a brain...

I love him so much. He's a Dalek-kisser.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That's also Paul McGillion (Beckett) looking adorable in that first picture, and some guy who I don't know but I would guess must be part of the production crew.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know if Hewlett wasn't acting in SGA, he'd be a fan of the show. I can totally respect that.

I love how he said he decided to be an actor when he got old enough to realise he couldn't actually be a Time Lord, and the closest he could get was playing one on tv.

Thrive to spite them

Now I want somebody to write an AU with Rodney as the Doctor and John and Zelenak as his Companions. -- Maybe John could work at UNIT and be the baffled military guy who comes to trust the Doctor. And Zelenka could be his Companion. Or maybe Ronan....
