Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

What this season has shown me, although I probably already knew it, if I'd stopped to think about it, is that I'll forgive mediocre writing more than I'll forgive a mediocre cast. It's why I've stuck with Threshold and dropped Surface and Invasion.

Art Crawl!!!

I read the comic books first.

On edit: Dana, I agree. Well, I didn't bother to try Surface but Threshold is better than Invasion because of the acting. . . even though that Ed Cibrian is pretty damn cute.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I saw one episode of Threshold this weekend. I liked the cast, although I miss the more hard-boiled Carla Gugino we got in Karen Sisco. ::sigh::

But Peter Dinklage being snarky and arrogant? And Brent Spiner being snarky and arrogant? Gotta love it.

If I only had a brain...

Can one ever have too much snarky and arrogant, if strictly fictional and written by the best?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Threshold is totally snarky & arrogant TV, it's what I watch for.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I like Threshold a lot, and mainly for the cast. The arc interests me, but I do wish they'd get on with it, instead of having every week be "Whoops, someone else is infected, we must catch them."

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, both Threshold and Invasion are very very slow - arc-wise.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Shiny. Of course, Jan 3rd means I can't ask for it for Christmas, unfortunately.

Sweet.

Also, I'm liking Threshold. I like the cast and the snappy repartee. I'm a leetle worried that the story will get boring, but we'll see.
