Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

'Not Fade Away'

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

BTW, I noticed that the first season of SGA is running in syndication this year. (On UPN in the Chicago area.)

If I only had a brain...

all the talk about the POV character going insane has me worried that I should skip the rest.

He's not Drusilla insane. He does things that make perfect sense in his context, but that unfortunately don't work too well.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

He's not Drusilla insane.

Except near the end of S2, but that wasn't really his fault. And he gets better! Mostly.

Most of the time, he reacts as sensibly as can be expected, considering the circumstances he's presented with. It's just that the circumstances are, well, insane.

If I only had a brain...

Well, yes, but when there actually IS a second person in your head, it doesn't count as hearing voices. Right?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yeah, I think it was the Scorpius deal that really lost me. But I'll give it a go; DVDs are cheap! And CuteBoy at the office is a big fan, so that'll give us something to talk about besides Serenity.

Well, yes, but

Heh -- fair point.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

The funny part is how, in moments of crisis, Crichton trots out a whole nother aspect of pop culture you didn't even know he was into. Mid-S2, when he's looking at being frozen alive? Buffy. Beginning S3, when he's well-and-truly nuts? Wrestling. Somewhere in there it turned out he has a collection of Miles Davis on vinyl.

I ask you, when did this guy have time to be an experimental physicist and rock star?

All is well that ends in pizza.

He was Buckaroo Banzai? Imagine.

Art Crawl!!!

BTW, I watched Global Frequency this weekend and LOVED it!! How could the WB have NOT picked this up? Idiots.

Particularly in a year with such lukewarm big three science fiction shows like Invasion, Threshold and Surface.

It's maddening.
