OMG! I just discovered my local WB channel is showing Farscape! I just stumbled across the first episode! Damn I wish I'd known it was on.
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Wow. I just did a quick search to see if we were getting it, too. Turns out channel 9 (I have no idea what the station is, but it's not the WB. I don't think. Or maybe it is. I don't know.) is showing ep 1 of Farscape tomorrow at 9p and ep 2 next Sunday. I'm sensing a trend. That's kind of neat. I haven't rewatched since I Netflixed the first time. Maybe I'll do that.
Fun.
huh. how about that? my WB is showing it at 11 pm on sundays.
My WB is showing it in the mornings. Zap2it says that WGN is showing two episodes at 4 and 5 (EST) everyday.
No way! I must now email all my friends.

It looks like the 4 ep is S1 and the 5 ep is S2, though. It's confusing.
But, for those who have such an investment, I'm going to try out this damn show now. The premiere is taping tonight, and I get the second episode on Saturday. I figure this way I can slowly watch until I find the time/money/energy to grab DVDs and finish it off.
Just saw this link on my flist - BSG and Season 3 (not spoilery - just BSG picked up for S3): [link]
Huh. But now I see it's two weeks old, so maybe this is only news to me. And not terribly surprising.
Nope, news to me too. Which is weird, as I usually follow the news on scifi.com, and they were quite proud of the fact that it got picked up for season two.
Anyway. So, years from now, maybe BSG TOS with its 20 episodes will just be a footnote to the new BSG and its three (four? five?) season run.

The continuing success of the revived cable and satellite series bodes well for the merchandise it has spawned including trading cards (from Rittenhouse), the DVD of Season One (due out on September 20th from Universal), and action figures from Joyride Entertainment.
Where are the action figures?
eta²: I google and just found info on Joyride BSG TOS.
Although a TOS Cylon and the Orange County Chopper guy could have many adventures together: [link]
Way upthread somebody asked for a cite and I didn't have one.
Here's Jennyo's theory of why Laura Roslin is the Cylon God.
