Can anybody explain to me how the cute girl doctor got written back on to House after she resigned? Because they ran the reruns out of order and the question never got addressed.

House asked her to come back. She said, "Only if you go on a date with me." Date was terribly awkward. And I think that was about it.
House got her a corsage. And Wilson lounged on the couch and made comments while House got ready. It was cute. I'm thinking that Wilson's "wife" is just an elaborate joke that wilson and house pull on the rest of the staff. Because those two are so married.
