Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Tauri is what the Goauld call people from earth. The Jaffa picked up the habit from them.

And, since Kree! is used so often and in so many contexts, we don't know if we have or haven't heard it equal fuck! Actually, there are many times when that would be a good guess.

Jaffa, Kree!

Could mean, "come here and service me, you tall stud."

Or, you know, not.

Totally. This is why I added the "to the best of my knowledge" disclaimer. Actually, it'd be kind of funny to just assume that's what they're saying every time.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

genetically modified them to have a symbiote pouch in their abdomen.

So when Hathor gave Jack a pouch, was that a genetic alteration, or just surgery?

That was Season 1. Most of what was established in Hathor has been roundly ignored by the writers since, and we've never seen another Goa'uld try that since. I suspect they're hoping we've forgotten it.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

OK. I am an Earth person. All my parasites are Earth-borne. The whole "Tauri" thing is behind me.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK, I am now most of the way through the BSG TOS pilot (or rather, the theatrically-released version of the pilot) and to all those TOS fans who were mad that they made Starbuck a woman in the reimagined series, I just wanna say, "WTF?"

TOS Starbuck is annoying as hell. It's like when they made Starbuck a woman, they got rid of all the annoying characteristics and made the character far more complex.

Also annoying is that the civilian leadership in TOS are a bunch of appeasing idiots. (Actually, I hated that about BSG TOS when it was originally on.)

Me, too! I am so pleased that it was re-imagined as a GOOD show!
