Did it seem to anyone that they abandoned those redshirtsunnamed soldiers pretty damn quickly in the bug lair on Aquarium? I mean, Sheppard lasted over an hour with one of those things attached to him - they slowly drain the life out of their prey rather than killing them instantly. Might have been worth pulling the guys out and trying a saltwater bath rather than writing them off immediately with a pineapple eulogy.

I really disliked the video effect in last night's BSG. (The temp effect on the screener I saw last week was far less pixelated, and I think worked better. Not just because I have a hard time believing in a society that develops space travel before MiniDV, but because the emotions were harder to read with the image so distorted.)
I love Boomer's little "told you" to the male Cylon in the last bit.

The redshirts were screaming, and probably covered with bugs. Doesn't make it any more right, though: that really pissed me off.
And it was, frankly, in flat contrast to SG-1 where Daniel made a point of saying, "we don't leave our people behind." Lorne clearly wasn't trained in the Jack O'Neill school of field tactics. You blow shit up BEFORE they grab your people.
Also? If he blew the shit out of that cave, how come there was anything left to grab when Shep went back?
Still haven't watched BSG.

Continuity in plot is generally respected. However continuity in character is a little vaguer. There was an episode back in season 4 during which Jack and Teal'c learned Latin/Ancient. And yet, they've never mentioned it again.
On the other hand, Ben's clearly been working out like a mofo, so it's possible they'll carry it through just because he's going to insist on it.
I also suspect he stuck that Bones comment in: it's precisely the sort of thing he'd suggest. Of course, that means Cam's a geek, but I'm not all that surprised. An SG-1 fanboy was likely to be a geek, even with all the muscles.
