A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
There was the one with Bill Irwin as the flying guy. And Maggie's magical dying boyfriends. Which, um, brings us back to SG-1. Ahem.
It's nice to be offline all day and discover that everyone else has responded to the spoiler for me. Carry on, y'all.
I watched BSG s1ep4 last night. Wow. Really, just Wow. Evidentally I watched the first two episodes and then stopped because I don't remember this one at all.
The sturcture of the episode was really fantastic. There were so many good things -- Starbuck with Hot Dog in the beginning, Adama and Starbuck when she tells him the truth. Lee when he realizes that he's gone too far. Actully the look when he thinks his father knows the truth. I'll stop gushing now.
Also, I love Katee Stackhouse's acting, she does all these little physical things that just make the character.
Jessica -- if you're here, may I ask what the format the packaging of the BSG Season 1 dvds is in? Because I just got my Lost dvds last night and even though I haven't watched them yet -- I hate the packaging.
What made these people think that packaging dvds so that one is stacked on the other is a good idea? Everytime you want to watch one of the even numbered discs, you have to remove the odd numbered disc to do it.

YES. That is exactly what I love as well. Also, Sackhoff.
Aaah. I had to stop highlighting the
SG-1
whitefont because I seemed to be spoiling myself for
Farscape.
Northern Exposure had magical realism? When?
There was the young wife of the bar owner who shed her skin like a lizard. She also had the Worst Mothers in the World dream sequence (Medea and two others gave her a weird pep talk) while pregnant.
Shelly (I think that was her name) also had an episode where she couldn't stop singing.
Didn't Maggie have an episode where she almost got involved with a guy who was also a bear?
I remember one where Joel went out into the hinterlands hoping to see lights from some mythical lost city.
And where Chris ... I forget. Lost his voice? Something happened to disable him until he kissed the most beautiful woman in town. Who was Maggie, of course.

I'm pretty sure they don't do the stacking thing, which I also hate. It's just not sensible in any way, you know?
