I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

A commenter somewhere suggested that Vala foist the child off on Daniel, which I admit does make me laugh a little.

Also, in non-spoilery SG-1 news, I taped last week's episodes, which were not new, but were the SG-1 "viewer favorites" or whatever. I only got through one last night before the cold medicine killed me ded, but I saw the first half of "Lost City." So I have now seen the original Weir, and I have been reminded of how slashy Jack and Daniel were (not that I ever forgot), and even of the whole OT4 vibe.

Thrive to spite them

I asked in Natter, although I'm sure the answer is HANDWAVE!

That was kernezelda over on LJ. And you know Vala totally would.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

The very beginning of Lost City Part 2 cracks me up now that I'm not grumpy anymore that Teal'c and Sam got way better one-on-one moments with Jack than Daniel did, because the two of them are so overwhelmingly bickeringly married. "Could you at least look. at. it?" Sheesh.

I'll have to watch that tonight.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

OMG, I would have been spitting fire if they did this to Sam. Like Katie, I enjoy Vala but I'm not as emotionally invested in her as I am in the original team.

Much as I dislike the plot device, I would so totally get behind it if they were to take that plotline to SGA and make it MPREG. t cackles

Even if Rodney suddenly found his inner gentle soul?

Even SG-1 wouldn't re-do the whole 'Oh noes! We have to find the missing mystical rugrat!' thing again, would they? Because they have to get rid of it somehow, and Vala's popular enough that they might want to keep the character around a bit more permanently.

A pox on you, Katie, for even saying that.

Maybe the Mystical Rugrat will make Vala Ascend.
