This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is it coming out on the 20th for the rest of us? (The BSG boxed set I mean.)

Yes

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You got little cards?!
Of course I did. They translate to: Butt Monkey.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

I adored Alien Nation. I think I still would. Do I remember right that the series ended on a cliff hanger?

Yup but they were able to resolve it in the first of the 6 television movies--of which I've only seen a couple. :(

If I only had a brain...

Stargate SG-1 post-hiatus SPOILERS ("Crusade"):

[link]

Shit. They're making Vala pregnant when she comes back.

Why, why, why?

This is as bad as the fricking Magical Negro.

Because it's a Magical Pregnancy.

Art Crawl!!!

There is a BSG mini-series novel coming out.

It's written by Jeffrey Carver, anyone read anything by him?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can they just leave the fucking wombs out of it already? It's really getting me irritated. At least Firefly didn't have a chance to go there.

If I only had a brain...

Yes. A pox on fricking frakking frelling fucking uteruses. Concentrate on some other bloody organ; this one's tired.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Ha. It's going to be difficult to avoid that particular spoiler, I can see. I'd be more irritated if I cared more, but I'm very zen about it since I found S9 so far incredibly underwhelming and sort of emotionally distanced myself from the show already.

If I only had a brain...

Hey, I whitefonted.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Okay, here's my guess, without highlighting the whitefont: Vala's pregnant. Am I right?
