Daniel's watching Lost City!

(Am I right? Daniel playing with oranges and being kind of drunk and Sam having awkward non-conversations with Jack?)

I loved that scene, and that's one of my favorite SG-1 lines. So funny, and so Teal'c.

"What the hell was that?"

"That was S. G. 1."

Hee. This is fun. I'm not watching, but it's sort of like I am.

Thrive to spite them

I touched Paul McGillion! Unfortunatly I barely had time to talk to him. AFter speaking with Adam Baldwin (and turning completely tongue tied and barely able to say anything, but he was sweet) Paul was next on my list. unfortunatly when I got to his spot he'd gone off to do a radio interview and was going to be "right back." However the staff had to go rescue him. And when he got back instead of it just being me and Ginger there were about 10 people and it was rather rushed.

For a $10 donation to the Red Cross you could take a picture with him. Also, I should have jumped at the chance to say nice things about the actor who plays Jacob, but I was rather more intent on Paul.

And I kind of embarassed myself because Erin Gray was seated next to Paul and I thought shew as a staff handler for him and asked how much the pictures were adn tehn didn't talk to her at all until someone went up and said her name and I realized I had been about to ask her where Erin Gray was. Not that she looks incredibly different, but there was a huge crush of people. I stayed in line for several minutes for Gigi Edgley and then decided I didn't need to see her.

I did see Virginia Hey, who was very gracious and selling candles that I didn't buy. Something looked off about her mouth, although since I've mainly seen her in blue make up that just maybe how she looks.

So con = very good so far. Am very tired. Have Vividcon Dvds and have met Shrift and Dana. We had dinner with one of hte worst waitresses ever at a very nice place. Then the manager (I think) came up and sort of tried to kind of make an apology about the service but mostly said that the problem was there were so many people (although Ginger said it wasn't htat busy) and everyone wanted seperate checks even though it was there policy not to do those for large parties and it's very taxing for the waitresses to do separate checks.

He said this as we sat there with our separate checks waiting for her to come back and get them.

However, she had time to bus tables and never managed to bring our drinks or even to come by and see us very much so Shrift started asking for something everytime we saw her just so we could get some regular service.

Erin Grey?

Sigh.

Sounds like a fun time, askye - and nice of you to update. Randomly, I was just watching something (about SGA) with Paul McG today and was reminded about the totally different accent.

I think I went through a period of wanting to be Erin Grey when I was a kid. This would be Buck Rogers Erin Grey, not Silver Spoons Erin Grey. I had moved on by the time Silver Spoons was came out. Or, maybe it was really Wilma Deering that I wanted to be. Anyway, I liked her. Though, I suspect not in the same way that elicits the sigh from DX...

She definitly has not had plastic surgery. Not that she's bad looking, but she definitly doesn't look plastic.

Also, there was the women of Firefly line, the men of firefly line,a dn the Kevin Sorbo line. No one was in the Sorbo line, except a few people would come up. The staffer would say "Anyone in line for Mr. Sorbo" and be answered by a resounding silence. Or some of us making jokes about the silence.

Oaky time for bed. More stuff to morrow.
