Well, the Six that Baltar hung out with was real. They dated for a while (a few years) before the attack. She seduced him to get access to defense info and to plant a virus or something in the computers on all the ships (except for Galactica).

She was physically present on Caprica (see Tommyrot's post), but not on Galactica, except for when the other Six in the fleet came on board (once) to fuck with Baltar's head in S1. And that one didn't have sex with him.
