Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

What's with Ba'al having a South African accent all of a sudden? Didn't he Americanise it before? Or was that in my imagination?

I'm intrigued by what SGA is doing with the Wraith, but I fear they may dumb it down so much it won't be interesting any more.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Female light-up body parts never an improvement.

We already have headlights, and Playboy notwithstanding, they're not exactly helping us rule the world.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

I thought this episode of SGA was terrible, and SG-1 not much better.

There were two moments when I actually felt involved - when Sam said, "Not so much" or whatever about being single (Sam & Jack aww) and Rodney begging to come with Sheppard on the hunt for evil Jewel Staite. Agree the previews gave all the HSQ away - plus they were cracking me up because they were scoring it like a Rob Zombie movie.

But then again, STILL cranky about being worked to death, so definitely YMMV.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Why do I have a feeling that everyone on Atlantis will be half-Wraith by the end of this season?

Love the new Boomer getting re-integrated into the crew. (Though..."I don't have any hidden protocols" is a pretty empty promise for her to make. Because if she does, she wouldn't know about them. That's why they're called hidden protocols.)

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Dear Lord do I hope it stops with John. Although he'll be in the probably unique position of having Wraith and Ancient DNA, which will probably come into play (I should hope!)

But she does know that she's a Cylon, so there's more transparency in her psyche

so...the 4400. i totally called that Jordan wasn't dead from day one. i was very worried about that confrontation between Kyle and Shawn. how much does Shawn rock though? so much love for that angsty boy.

I'd say there's different transparency in her psyche. She's not in a position to know how much or how little, and neither are we until the writers decide otherwise.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

i totally called that Jordan wasn't dead from day one.

It was definitely a possibility, but it was still surprising to see it. And then there was Isabelle. And Richard getting a power. And Burkoff injecting himself with promycin. And like thirteen other things, I think. Or maybe just three.

Oh yeah, and Shawn rocks. God, I can't imagine. He was restricting himself to healing one person a day: how many 4400s do you think he managed to heal all on his own?

I have to bitch about the science, though.

A) No fucking way they designed an inhibitor that fast. That shit takes years.
B) No fucking way Burkoff isolated promycin from Isabelle that fast without any fancy equipment. And why the hell was it yellow? Come on, television: EVERYTHING IN SCIENCE IS CLEAR.

it didn't surprise me. when they showed the person from the back with the long hair, i yelled "JORDAN!" and my parents were all, "huh?". with Isabelle, i think i've watched too many soap operas to be surprised that they aged her. i am going to miss being able to call her "evil baby" or "baby dearest". Richard getting his power was just a squee moment. mostly because he's just a good guy and he felt so inadequate for not having a power.

Over on TWoP, we call her Killabelle.
