OK, the Lord King Bad Vids... so. funny. The Air Supply one? Tears of mirth.

Haven't looked at the rest yet, but I do always love me the Barkley vids, yes I do.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Adorable screencapped cruelty to last week's SG:A
Oh dear, that was wonderful!

Again, so funny. I love the Ronon/Teyla, "So, we've got a secret now..."/"Shut up!" @@ exchange.

It's official. You all have convinced me that this time I will love SG:A and SG:A will love me back. Last year, I got bored after a few episodes and dallied with other shows. But this time I think it could really work out. Just in time for SciFi to show all (well, six at least) the episodes from this season tomorrow. The tv, she has been told to watch.

If I only had a brain...

ARRGH.

I watched SGA tonight. McKay said "Oh, Shepherd, you mass of bodacious military man-love, forgive me my (entirely justified) arrogance."

Then the TiVo cut out.

What happened?

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Sheppard kind of glared at him, and said no.

Then Rodney said, PLEEEEEEEEASE?

And then Sheppard smiled flirtatiously and said, well, maybe.

The end.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Do you think the writers know what they're doing? Or is the same cluelessness about how to write women's roles also manifesting as them being completely oblivious to the Mckay/Sheppard subtext? I wouldn't have thought it possible to achieve near-Angel levels of UST without the writers intentionally aiming for it, but all the interviews seem to concentrate on "Duet" and the faux slash between Beckett and Cadman in Mckay's body.

If I only had a brain...

McKay and Shepherd SO bicker like a couple.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Sheppard kind of glared at him, and said no.

Then Rodney said, PLEEEEEEEEASE?

And then Sheppard smiled flirtatiously and said, well, maybe.

Aw, you missed the bit where Sheppard's glare shattered Rodney's little heart into a bazillion tiny pieces, and he sort of crumpled right there, realising in that moment that losing Sheppard's manlove respect and esteem was actually worse than the shame of not having solved the Ancients' puzzle. And how Sheppard's "Well, maybe," was still pissy.

::blows nose::

I share your puzzlement at the possibility that they could possibly be oblivious to the slash.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I share your puzzlement at the possibility that they could possibly be oblivious to the slash.

I'd be very interested to know which of the people involved in the production are oblivious. And, of those who are not, who are trying to hinder the slash, who are promoting it, and who are doing their jobs indifferently to it.

Mostly because I can be, like, 6 kinds of geek at once.
