I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

if it makes you feel better, he's 24 in RL.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

*g*

See, if you play the "he's taller than me, and thus fair game to fancy" card, it's all one whether a person is 24 or 17. Really, I have no difficulty justifying fancying this lad, 'cause he's clearly a grown up. I mean, okay, there's the whole gawky thing going on there, but we're hardly talking Jeremy Sumpter here, are we?

(Don't talk to me about Peter Pan. Now THAT made me feel like Humbert Humbert*. This, not so much.)

...fwiw, when it comes to Alias I'm Victor Garber's girl all the way. Well, okay, and Lena Olin. Gah. And Isabella Rosselini. Oh, mind you, mustn't forget David Anders, or at least his portrayal of Sark...

thinks

Does this just mean I'm an equal opportunities letch?

sighs.

*although I was mostly All About Captain Hook. But Captain Hook was himself clearly All About Peter. Which was kind of sexy disturbing.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

But Captain Hook was himself clearly All About Peter.

Heh. I was all, hmmm, "Captain Hook/Wendy!", because dude, there was subtext in some of their scenes. I was secretly hoping that Wendy would take a pirate name and stay to boss around the pirates. Plus, I thought Peter was kind of a prat.

Mmmmm'Jason Isaac....

As for Jason Dohring who plays Logan, it was sad-making to learn that he's 1) married and 2) a scientologist. I have tougher time getting past 2) than 1) in terms of crush-age.

Oh! And while I'm at it; someone on my LJ Flist, in a weird bit of synchrony, asked for VM fic recs earlier on today. Rather than copying all of these to fic thread, I'll just link to the post here ('cause I am laaaaaazy): [link] I particularly recommend Yahtzee's fic (somewhere half way down the comment page) and everything Boyfriend In Coma has written, especially "Past Is A Prologue" because, talk about fuckin' Ow.

This I can understand.

Art Crawl!!!

Can you believe that they delayed the VM premier to air two hours of America's Next Top Model?

Isn't Mama Mars the worst Mama in the world?

Well, I think maybe not as bad as Angela Landsbury's character from "The Manchurian Candidate". Or Mrs. Bates, Norman's Ma. Or Medea. But she's pretty high up there.

Art Crawl!!!

Fay! Who do you think showed up at Veronica's door at the very end? I'm hoping that it was Wallace.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Aw! Aw, yeah, that'd be nice. Bless. I do love Wallace to pieces. But I must confess that I spent a chunk of that most excellent ending jiggling like a five year old in need of the loo, with my brow puckered, saying to the telly "...But, but, but what about Weevil and Logan? Is Logan dead now? Surely not! But how the H E double hockey sticks is he going to get out of this mess? Especially since he doesn't WANT to get out of this mess? And Weevil is very pissed off indeed!" So I was hoping hoping hoping it would be Logan, to reassure me of his not-dead-ness. But upon reflection, Wallace is a better call. Yeah. I suppose it could be Leo...... I certainly hope it isn't Duncan. I like him, and I enjoy their interaction, but I'm not aboard that 'ship. Well, not that I'm a 'shipper of any flavour.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Maybe it's Mac.

Hee.

Our wings are not tired.

Don't watch VM, so kinda lost here. However,

Remington Steele, the feminist detective show, is out on DVD!

Whee! I have to say that it didn't bother me that when I married DH I became Laura Holt.
