Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Not a whole lot of BSG commentary. Hmm... most of it is mine.

Anyway, I thought it was a so-so episode. Stuff had to happen to further the arc.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Also, Tigh's wife is starting to annoy me, in a cliched, poorly written way.

Sadly, I don't think she is. I mean, she's clichéd, but in a way that rings painfully true. (Except for the random angry sex which was just weird.)

SO glad Adama is back, even if it's probably too late.

Did she pull that out of her ass? Or did the stress of the situation allow her to access cylon files?

I'm guessing it's both.

So the next woman I go out with, I'll have to ask her, "If we get married, you won't pressure me into having command of a battlestar, will you?"

I'm really trying to feel the SG love, but I'm starting to think it's not happening. There are bits and pieces of each show that are...nice, but I can't figure out why I should care about anyone except Claudia Black. (Even BB isn't drawing me in, mostly because his character so far is a big giant nothing. He's not Chricton, but he's not anyone else either. He's just Ben Browder reading some very flat lines very flatly.)

Art Crawl!!!

It's interesting that Baltar's ploy worked though, isn't it? Of course, he is knows better than anyone that the Cylons can be human in some of their reactions. I suppose he was counting on that. (And how funny is it that no matter what he does, Baltar gets blackmailed by a woman.)

I'm so relieved that Adama is back. . . even if it is too late.

Unless you're a Cylon sleeper agent, in which case having command of a battlestar could be useful.

I think that they are parallelling Tigh's relationship with his wife to Baltar's with Six in hopes that we think that Mrs. Tigh is a Cylon.

Oh, good point.

Of course, my wife-to-be could be a Cylon sleeper agent. Or we both could be, and we'd have Cylon sleeper sex.

It could be like that movie - you know, the one about the guy and the woman... they shoot stuff....

Art Crawl!!!

So, you think that there might be at least two different Cylon organizations setting their sleeper agents in place each unaware of what the other guys are doing?

Oh, has anyone been checking out the podcasts on the SciFi website? [link]

Just like DVD commentary. Kinda' interesting, but also sometimes somewhat spoilery as the the general direction of the next few episodes.

They just put up this week's podcast, but they still haven't put up last week's.
