Have you seen The Storm and The Eye yet, Fay?

The series definitely picks up as it goes along. The first couple of months were decidedly meh. The first few episodes of the new series aren't really pushing my buttons either, so I'm hoping it'll pick up again.

Told ya'!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Yes yes, saw The Storm and The Eye and now The Defiant One and now I'm watching Hot Zone.

...I do like Peter. Not in a fancying way, but I think he's cool. Yay for pretty room with Teyla and John being sweaty! Yay for Rodney being Rodney! And Oh Noes for Rodney seeming to see the scary thing.

...Ooooh, Bates having to decide between Weir and Sheppard. Nice.

meep!

...don't die, wee Rodney!

t /fretful

Yes, I still like Peter. And I like cheerfully grisly doctor lady.

....aw, Rodney's Last Words!

Go away, nasty ghosty vision things! Don't kill Rodney!

....okay, good, not killing Rodney. Aw, bless, everyone else is asking why. WE know it's 'cause he's one of the main characters, and thus unlikely to die of scary alien infection thingy.

.... generate a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION OVERHEAD????

And this isn't a bad thing?

I bet Holling and co are going to LOVE this. If anyone ever bothers to tell them.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

.... generate a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION OVERHEAD????

*snicker*

Ah, you were looking for the LOGICAL thread, yes?

...the more I see of SGA, the more I feel that the deLouise boys are the heirs of Gene Roddenberry. This is so Galaxy Quest. But charming. Yes. And with the snark and piss-taking, which is nice.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am enjoying Fay watching SG:A more than the show itself.

Our wings are not tired.

Fay is making me consider watching SGA from the beginning again. I just haven't felt the love. I just doze a bit between SG1 and BSG. Perhaps if I watch through Galaxy Quest tinted glasses it would help, a lot.
