A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Underground
on SGA - Chief O'Brian! Is evil!!!!!
!!!!
And Rodney is lickable. That's more like it.
...however, I really
really
wish that the Set Design people had made Atlantis look better. It still looks much like the SGC, whereas the lovely chair back on earth was all art neauveau-ish. I'd love Atlantis to have graceful, elegant architecture more in keeping with the design of the city.
Fay, Laurie does a very good American accent.
What accent? We don't have an accent!
I just finished watching ep3.
Unfortunatly Mom's vcr didn't tape so I had to download it and watch it, the quality wasn't that great, esp since a lot of it was at night.
Ronan seems cool. Sheppard was wonderful. Caldwell was an ass.
But what the fuck have they done to Rodney?? In The Defiant he leaves relative safety, goes out and empties 2 clips into a Wraith --- the Wraith turns and Rodney pretty much stands his ground. He didn't go running of screaming like a child.
The whole radiation freak out was enough. At least Rodney actually shot Ford, I really wasn't expecting that.
Ford was really good, poor kid. I hope we see more of him and his struggle.
All the greenery on Atlantis distracted me, I guess they replaced the 1000 yr old dead plants.
Watching
The Storm.
Am absolutely awash with Scientist love. Bless.
Yay, you made it to the good stuff!
Aw, now
that
was fun.
And I'm delighted to find that Zelenka is played by a real Czech. Cool.
askye, as Katie points out, the Stargate writers, when faced with the choice between "cheap laugh" and "honest characterization", will go for cheap laugh every. damned. time. Well, maybe nine times out of ten.
Ronon's pretty, though. I just hope they don't go the Teyla/Ronon route. I'd much rather see her with Bates, just for the entertainment value.
I was doing a good job of thinking of David Hewlett as Canadian until he said his favourite Sci Fi shows were Dr Who, The Tomorrow People. It's okay to feel a
little
like he's British, right? I mean, he was born in Surrey.
Ooh! Plus, he's got the Queen on his money! I think! So, yeah, Brit. Yay!
it's so fun watching Fay fall head and shoulders into a new fandom
Bow! Bow to the power of David Hewlett!
