A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I love the characters (pretty much all of them except Ellen Tigh, Gaius, and Six)
I don't like Ellen, but I love Gaius and Six.
Of course, I've never seen a single ep of either Stargate. Or Farscape.
Nor have I.
33 absolutely hooked me. I thought the mini was fine... figured I'd give the show a watch, what with it being right there on Friday with the Gates, but I wasn't expecting to fall for it. Then that ep was just so tight and suspenseful, an order better than than the mini - I kind of figured I was hooked, and it turns out I was right.
Same here! That episode was so much better than the mini, it gave me hope. I think I became really hooked by the "Act of Contrition"/"You Can't Go Home Again" two-parter.
And the Caprica stroyline did get a little draggy for me.
Yeah, that was my least favorite thing about the first season.
I'm kinda' meh on the whole sexiness of Six, but I love the fact that she's so religious.
I think she's sexy, but not extremely pretty. But she's one of my favorite characters, which is weird considering I'm of the camp who believe that Baltar's Six is only in his head.
I believe that Gaius thinks she's sexy, which is really what's most important. Well, and that she herself is a happily sexual creature.
Mostly I just think the performance is creepy and charismatic.

Completely agree.
On the upside about Caprica, though, I suspect having Starbuck there now will liven things up. Heh. I still laugh every time I think of "Bitch took my ride." That was just such a great delivery.

Yeah. Although I laugh more when I think of her saying, "Let's do what Sharon the Cylon says. Because that would be a good idea," or WTTE.
Mostly I just think the performance is creepy and charismatic.
Yeah, definitely.

Yeah, I hope so, cause I never really cared much about Helo.

It's actually "Bitch took my ride."

I fixed it before I even read your post, dude.
ETA: I never say babe. Where the hell did that come from? Weird.
I never say babe either.
It may come up when I'm talking about dionysian baseball players, righteous pigs or goofing on a hollywood agent.
Oh, yes. The pig. I forgot about the pig. But that'd be capitalized.
I must have been channeling someone or something. Maybe one of those hollywood agents.
I say 'babe'. It is every bit as odd and risible as the word 'dude', coming from me, given that in my local argot the more appropriate terminology would be 'mate' or even, believe it or not, 'cock'.
I blame the cheap imported shiny US television shows.
