Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

But what are the odds that we're both wrong? Astronomical, I bet.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I think a Mr. Spock quote goes in here somewhere.

Exactly.

Also, I checked anyway. He appeared in another ep of SG-1, too. Maternal Instinct. As Moac. I don't know which ep that is, though. Oh. It's the one where they go to Kheb. With the monk, and the baby, and Oma.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Suela! Back from the trip! Hope you had a lovely time. Although poor B. (her dog) left so long without his mom. *sniff*

I am v. amused at the idea of Chief Tyrol as Anubis' Jaffa. Must dig out DVDs to check. I adore the actor who plays Tyrol--I think he's one of the best in the huge ensemble cast of BSG. Man, Vancouver must be such a kicky place for character actors and young people starting up. If you're good enough, you'll probably land a few minor roles here and there, then possibly end up with a substantial part like Tyrol's.

Hmmm, don't remember him in that one.

edited to look less insane.

I have the ridiculous notion that whenever it is I finally visit Vancouver, I'll just be able to plop myself down in a cafe somewhere - outdoor seating - order coffee and then watch all my favorite Sci-fi actors wander by. I mean, I don't really think that... except when I do.

I don't either, quester. But next time it's on, I will surely pay close attention.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Which episode did you watch? A bunch of folks here have watched, and loved, IIRC.

JenP - Jul 18, 2005 6:21:12 pm PDT #2201 of 10001

Yep, but I think we've kept it to whitefont since it hasn't aired in the US yet. Let me guess - it's the "Are you my mommy?" ep ?

If so, I share your shudder. That ep creeped me right out. Also, that ep and the next ones just blew me away with their fabulousness. Turned my crush on the show into a deep and abiding love.

Art Crawl!!!

Sigh. I wish my Who disk list would move those disks down.

Also, watching the repeat of BSG.

And I watched Prime Suspect: my god, this episode had James Frain, David Thewlis AND Ciaran Hinds.
