And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Probably wasn't very thorough, if they didn't find the taillights.

Um.... good point.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did we ever see the taillights again?

And that's pretty much every time we've seen them have sex, right?

Those lights are the DUMBEST shit.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Apparently, instead of the brake lever, these taillights are connected to the having-sex-in-a-sitting-position lever. Presumably they glow for other sex positions, or at other times, but AFAIK we don't know beyond two instances of the same position.

Yeah. I got the impresson from the miniseries DVD commentary that they just threw that in there on a whim... or at least they didn't think that through very well.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Also, the Cylon Adama killed was male, so maybe he didn't have the taillights.

Yeah, he probably had fog lamps.

Or a flash light.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

So, taillights might actually be glowy ovaries, except they're really, really lost in the body cavity? Okay.

The big fun comes when you realize that the cylon they killed in the mini and the cylon they killed later were the same model. Come on, didn't somebody at least joke that it was the perfect opportunity for a twin-study in anatomy? And, having cracked that joke, didn't somebody else say, DUDE WHAT AN AWESOME IDEA like I just did?
