Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Shirley Bassey, wasn't it?

Yes.

All is well that ends in pizza.

My roommate points out that a catsquito would have been more interesting and useful.

Or Ratsquito. You could use Catsquito as a counter-measure, then have to deal with them using Dogsquito...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Or Spidersquito. It'd eat itself.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I notice SciFi did a theme night. In between Mansquito airings they showed Mosquito.

Going for the Gold. Well, maybe the Pewter. Lead?

Can they make medals out of cheese or crap?

I am having fun reading Ron Moore's BSG blog rather than sleeping right now:

Q: "I'll second the question - why is it that the paper in the Galactica universe has the corners cut off, even the tractor fed printer sheets! i just want to know."

A: This is a closely guarded secret of the show and certainly not a wacky design element that someone came up with during the miniseries.

Q: "Does James Callis' uncanny resemblance to Alexander Siddig in almost every way ever freak you out?"

A: Not until someone on these boards mentioned it, now I'm totally freaked.

There's actually some very interesting reading there, aside from the funny.

I'm also rewatching DS9 through Netflix now, and "totally freaked" pretty much describes looking at Bashir and thinking Baltar. Gotta shake it off, man.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"totally freaked" pretty much describes looking at Bashir and thinking Baltar

Ooh. I hadn't thought of it that way round.

I was wondering whether Julian as the longer-standing character in my brain would have a slight edge over his doppelganger. Nope, not really. Just as odd to watch him with Baltar rattling around up there as it was to watch Baltar with Bashir in mind at first. In fact, this may even be weirder, because Baltar is fresher in my memory.

I fear the dreams that may come.

(And, awww, DS9 - I've missed you.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I miss DS9 every day, and I'm hoping that Moore brings in Wolfe and Behr and Echevarria et al.

They should totally get Siddig in to play some sort of Cylon duplicate of Baltar. t evile grin
