...so although I didn't get to see the SciFi special, I have now seen a selection of images from it.

Bless the cuteness. Claudia's ensembles...heavens. But she's still to die for.

But, but...my God, I hope that they find and kill the hairmonster that shat on Christopher Judge's head.

Am watching SG:1 again - damn, this is a hell of an episode.

Janet!

Am presently snotty mess, with the Sam and the huggage and Teal'c (I still have no idea where the apostrophe goes, I'm sorry, no biscuit) and everything. But as much as that, I've really appreciated the portayal of the journalist, and the fact that they're addressing these issues even a little bit (because it bugs me), and I think the dialogue has been very good in this episode. Really very good.

blows nose.

So yesterday they had me laughing out loud and today they have me in tears. Well done, SG1 peeps!

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Good job with the apostrophe! Well-guessed.

Poor Janet, yes. The more times I see Heroes the more I notice the Stuff That Had To Happen To Further The Plot And RDA's Absence, but there's a lot of good there. You're right, the guy who plays Bregman is really excellent--they were lucky to have him.

So yesterday they had me laughing out loud and today they have me in tears.

Oh dear God, I so very much wanted to spoil you, or at the very least warn you as to what to expect, but I thought you'd enjoy it more this way, as I'm assuming did everyone else. So very, very hardcore for SG1, don't you think? Honestly, the show earned so many Brownie points from me for that. Upsetting, but in all the right ways.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At first I thought Fay meant Wormhole X-Treme, which is indeed very funny, but then I realised documentary, and couldn't remember anything funny about that -- just Janet's death.

So I kept quiet.

Same here, Jars. I just sat on my hands so as not to give anything away.

Oh, the first part had funny bits - the interviews, in particular.

Yeah, so much. And I also remember a bit where they had a fake-out Jack death in all his macho soldier slo-mo glory. Which seemed so, so ridiculous when contrasted with Janet's death, which took seconds. And it was so very deliberate, which I loved.

And now I seem to be watching a thing called The Other Sister with Joe Flanigan. Apparently. Which is mostly about Juliette Lewis and Giovanni Ribisi pretending, excruciatingly badly may I add, to be developmentally disabled. Oh crap. I still haven't seen him! I may give up soon.

Oh my God. He said "dishevelled coif". I can now die happy.

OMG JF is in that? How funny. I saw it ages ago and was traumatized by the aforementioned godawful "acting" by Lewis & Ribisi.

Fay darling, it sounds like you have some source of SG-1 over there by the Nile, but if you still need SGA I have every single ep on homemade DVDs, along with the Special, which I would be happy to send you. I'm so getting the official DVDs when they come out and am not going to have time to watch these ones.

And by Special I mean "From Stargate To Atlantis" - I haven't seen the new one nor do I want to 'cause spoilers.

Well, that and the Special Hell I will be going to for *ahem*ing the eps.

ETA I've started in on the fic again, this never ends well. A cute look at McShep from Zelenka's POV here.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Thanks for the link, arby! That was a great little fic.
