Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Helfer was also on an original recipe CSI. It took a minute for me to realize why she looked so familiar. Cut tagged for the squeamish: She was the supermodel found dead in a shopping cart--a rat climbed out of the body's mouth. Shudder.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh my gosh, am watching an ep of SG1 from, er, Season 7? 8? Post-Jonas, anyway. And it's fabulous. Very meta, with a (new) camera crew trying to interview everyone, which is entertaining enough as it is, but it's also got Adam Baldwin!

VERY entertaining ep. (Yesterday's ep was less with the funny, as Sam was running around hiding from one of the UberWarrior thingies in some woodland somewhere, and the Tokra (sp?) and the Jaffar (sp?) decided they'd had enough of the stinking alliance with earth. This ep? Much more fun.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Your yesterday ep had a great hug, though, didn't it? At the end? Poor Sam.

Bless. Poor Sam. It wasn't a bad ep, by any means.

But I've thoroughly enjoyed this ep. It's been funny and it's done a lot of the world-building that I so enjoy. I loved watching Jayne's team (SG13, appropriately enough) interacting, in the scant bit of screen time they got, and I enjoy all the outsider-pov-on-SGC stuff.

C'mon, surely they must be coming up on discovering Atlantis soon, yes? I'm on tenterhooks!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Fay, that's a two-parter episode, IIRC. The second part is very good as well, although in a less funny-ha-ha type way.

Oh good. I hoped it wasn't over. Good. I'm fine with it being less giggle-inducing - I do enjoy the world-building stuff. And action. And - well, I guess I'm easy to please, actually. Huh.

I'm sure that if I didn't already post the link, somebody will have done, but - y'all already read that David Hewlett and Amanda Tapping mutual interview, didn't you?

Why no, no I did not. But looking at your tag, I'm guessing you enjoyed it?

It certainly made me think that David Hewlett (and indeed Amanda Tapping) is adorability on a stick.

Bless. Not spoilery, I don't think - it was when Atlantis had just started. Just cute.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Hee. How cute are they?

DH: I like to think I’m a slightly nicer person than Rodney. I definitely find myself being a lot more snarky, a lot more, a lot more sarcastic and grumpy than I used to be. It’s so much fun, like, just having an excuse to be in a bad mood all the time. Which I kind of like, you know, ‘cause I think crotchety is where I’m going to go with my old age.

AT: You’re beginning to become crotchety?

DH: I’ve made a commitment to crotchety, yeah!
