I know, world in peril and we have to work together. This is my last office romance, I'll tell you that.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I got 11/11, and no one is more surprised than me. The Kirk question was a total guess. I think I knew the ERB one when I was a child. I certainly remember my older sisters reading and discussing the series. The rest I just knew.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Dejah Thoris... I heard a rumor someone's making a movie out of A Princess of Mars. I'm dying to know how they do the four-armed green Men.

Robert Rodriguez was going to, but, when he quit the Director's Guild over giving Frank Miller a director's credit for Sin City, he had to pull out, and I don't think they've found anyone else to do it, yet.

Edit: Apparantly, it's going to be the guy who directed Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, whose other directing credit is . . . . Well, he actually doesn't HAVE any other credit. Also, Rodriguez had hired the legendary Frank Frazetta as production designer. I don't know if that's falling through without him, though.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Wow! So SGA Season 2 features Mitch Pileggi! Which I can't spell, but nevertheless.

Stargate in its various incarnations really IS the Borg! Go Team!

(I haven't ever watched the show. I mean, I feel like I have after dabbling in fic so much the past few days, but I haven't ever watched the show. So it's utterly silly to be getting fannish about it. Very very silly. Nevertheless, I've got SGA wallpaper right now, aifg, because I want to lick all of them, pretty much. Yes. All of them. Huh.

Is that true? 'Cuz I read that info in a magazine, but could not confirm it on Sci Fi Channel's page, or anywhere else.

Also, I noticed that my NBC affiliate is showing BSG this coming Saturday. Is this nationwide, and if so, why?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's true, Sheryl. There are spoiler pictures that confirm it, among other things. Kind of bizarre that it's not on the Sci-Fi site, though.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

He's been in the promos. His presence, and that Rodney's 2 lines are "I'm not crazy" and " Yes, with a woman" both make me smile.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Yep. Go check out the info on the characters at the official site. See the pretty at the download wallpaper bit. Lick screen.

Um. Or, you know, don't. It doesn't taste very nice. Um. I imagine.

Ok, they must have added his character to the list since I last checked the site out.

sigh...this means another show I'm adding to my watching routine.

I'm completely new to the Stargate universe, aside from the movie, which I saw long ago. I've read the "Stargate primer for Farscape fans". Is there a primer for Stargate Atlantis? (I'd be fine with a Cliff Notes version of the basics.)

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

You could do worse than check out the Crack Van primer.

I say this as someone who's still not seen any of the show themselves, of course. Um.

Yeah, that's a pretty good intro. For a slightly more tongue-in-cheek one, with season 2 pictures and bonus Zelenka, there's this one I just tripped across today.
