I was leaping to click the mindkiller question's answer as soon as I read the question -- it hadn't occurred to me they'd pick 4 Dune sources as options. I got it right, though -- those early bits of the book are the most evocative for me (and I knew a guy named Paul who used the phrase all the time), and I can't remember a damned thing about the screen versions.
Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
7/11
I got 3, 6, 8 and 11 wrong. (Guesses, all wrong.)
I don't remember the movie well enough to say. My husband quotes (and filks, or whatever you call it when you make up new words to litanies rather than songs) that ALL THE TIME. It's a little unsettling to hear when he's driving through fog.
I remember his name was Thufir! I feel like I should get a point for that.
I have the Firefox extension.
Oh God, that's worth getting Firefox for.
I pretend like the movie never happened, so I went with the book answer for the Litany Against Fear.
DH has that, too. Cracks me up.
6/11. Got 3, 6, 7, 10, and 11 wrong and they were all guesses. The only guess I got right was #8, but I was pretty sure about it.
I only missed the Dune question, and that's probably because I saw the movie again within the last month where Mentat says that line.
