A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I expected to hate that character, but really, he was a delight.

Yeah, same here.

I dare any American TV actor to pose like that for publicity photos.

Actually, is he American or not? He seems to have grown up in the US, but was born in Scotland, so I'd be interested to know which passport he carries.

Actually, I'm a wee bit sad, because there's been a mistranslation: they've written "Schlechter Wolf" on the bomb, but the German for "Bad Wolf" is actually Böser Wolf. Though I do get the message .

Minnow (who wrote that great Angel series set after Not Fade Away) just wrote a lovely Atlantis story for Dana: [link]

Yum.

I always thought Barrowman was standard whitebread British, but that impression was mainly based on his accent rather than any factual info. I ran across an old Entertainment magazine the other day from back when he was a closeted nighttime soap star on US television. Boy, was some of the PR stuff funny in retrospect!

His natural accent in interviews is American, which sounds perfectly normal to my ears. Does it sound to you as though it has a British twinge?

I love all this accent stuff, though I am a bit disappointed that David Tennant doesn't seem to be using his natural Scottish one as the Doctor .

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

His accent sounded too American, like it was being forced or something.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I saw him (assuming it's the same guy, and I'm pretty sure it is) in a production of Sondheim's "Company", and he's on the DVD release of "Putting It Together." Never occurred to me he was anything other than American.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Big hats, scarves, long dresses and skirts. Not so much the actual Victoriana, mind, but it's definitely a theme. Although as of yesterday I'm accessorising with a lovely black and white Hello Kitty bag, very shiny, very cute, holds my tortoiseshell sunglasses, sandalwood fan and telescopic London Tube Map umberella very nicely, along with the wallet and keys and 'phone. (the latter has the most GORGEOUS big gay porn snog photo on it as wallpaper at present, and has had for the past few months.)

wantwantwant Brendan Fraser. Or the mummy. He can devour my flesh any time. Yes.

Today I was reading McKay/Sheppard pr0n on the laptop at school, whilst the little blighters were out at their Arabic lesson. Am very naughty. Also, damn it, I'm in danger of being sucked into SG:A fandom without having seen any of the blessed source material. Damn it. Wretched Evil Boss must pay me, else how can I fly home and buy DVDs?????

I'm pointedly ignoring all this Dr Who talk. It makes me grumpy and jealous. Stoopid world.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

This post got so excited by the coolness of Fay that it stumbled and fell right out of the thread. Making ita look crazy in the process.
