Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Combs was also on a recent ep of JLU, speaking of distinctive voice.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Wow, that FUG picture is frightening. Nevermind the botox. What the hell are her boobs doing?

I was hoping Coombs would make an appearance on the latest ep of The 4400, but sadly, no.

Compassionately intolerant

Neverwhere.

Netflixed.

I went an Arlington Interactive Media event Sunday that featured excellent clips of their public access tv shows (some suprisingly well-done) over the last 20 years. One show, which I'm vexed I don't have access to in DC (even if I did have a tv) is called "Fast Forward: Contemporary Science Fiction". It looks terrific, and the clip they showed featured none other than Neil Gaimon. I squeed. 2 of the other attendees smiled. The roughly 100 others stared mystified.

It was cool.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Combs was also on a recent ep of JLU, speaking of distinctive voice.

A few of them, in fact, as the Question.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

The Question is featured in week after next's ep.

Dammit. I was just about to flip away from a cheesy-looking Sci-Fi movie about UFOs, when who showed up but Christopher Meloni. He appears to be starring. I suppose I'm stuck now.

I also made two fab caps from Dr. Who 12. I am so tickled. I think they're kind of crap quality-wise (as in, not that sharp), but they'll do for me. Point is - I can make screen caps. Woo!

Oh, and look, there's Marcia Cross. I like her, too. Aw, geez, and now it's Cranky Doc from Scrubs. Damn.

Okay, so this Darklight thing?

SO.

BAD.

Also, depressingly little David Hewlett. Like, two or three minutes.

Art Crawl!!!

David Hewlett is in Darklight?

I saw that, well, a long time ago. Pre-Aquarium, in fact. I don't remember him.

And it is bad.

The BBC has commissioned a third new series of Doctor Who.

There will also be Christmas specials this year and next year, plus the third series, which means in total there are 28 episodes in the pipeline.

Warning: the following article includes major spoilers for the final episode! Link here.

Actually, can people read the linked Media Guardian articles? I'm logged on to the site, but I think they introduced registration.
