It's not on normal US TV so far.
Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Oh, good to know. Ta, everyone.
Askye, for the right sequence of PegB, go here: [link]
That's got Salieri's Pilot story in one file (rather than ten separate LJ posts). She's also got links to the LJ posts with indexes of the rest of the stuff.
Basically, Pegasus B was Salieri saying, "What would Atlantis be like if Daniel wasn't ever in the Stargate program but got recruited for Atlantis by his old friend/lover Rodney? What if Charlie didn't die at 10? What if Jack got sent to Atlantis instead of Sumner?"
And people loved it so much that a bunch of other people started writing stuff in that AU as well. So the PegB community is a bunch of AUs of an AU. A lot of it is slash, but not all. And much of it is very good (but not all *g*).
That's cool.
Last night I read The Secret Life of Scientists as well as a few other stories and last night my dreams were a weird mix of fanfic plot lines and sort of real life stuff.
I had read several stories that mentioned the Daedlus (however it's spelled) and didn't know the context, in some of them I thought it came sooner because there wasn't really any mention of the Wraith. I have to admit, although I'm glad they have some back up and a way to fight the Wraith, I really liked the stranded in space aspect of the show and hope that going back and forth between Earth and Atlantis doesn't become too easy.
Not on US regular TV, and unlikely to be so. SciFi took a look at it, but decided it was "too British."
Makes sense. I was hoping for BBC America, but it wasn't on their list of programs. Curse you, BBC America!
Only not, because I love it.
RE Doctor Who: U.N.I.T. I think the Publications page is my favorite. "If it doesn't breathe, how can I kill it?"
Also amusing.
I love the disclaimer link where they apologize if anyone's confused it with a real website. Heh.
And Katie's tagline needs to be immortalized, because, dude, fannish truffles:
Farscape won't exactly come back, it will simply sprout from the bones of Stargate like fannish truffles. --telepresence
God, Abyss is beautiful. I love Jack. I miss Jack.
