Buffy: You tossed that vamp like he was a... little teeny vamp. Riley: You wanna go again? C'mon. I bet this place is just teeming with aerodynamic vampires.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How much do I hate when an SF writer says "That method of rapid interstellar travel? Stupid and impossible! Here's my way!"

Back to reading the site.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hmm. Jules Verne said the same thing of H. G. Wells, in regards to their respective means of transport to the moon.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I had that thought as well - people are speculating about various methods of travel that violate the laws of physics as we currently understand them - it's not as if someone's saying they just build a rocket big enough to go faster than light.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Robert Wolfe has put up a summary of what the plot arc on Andromeda was supposed to be.

I suddenly miss Tyr enormously.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

What's not to miss?

I wonder what Keith Hamilton Cobb is doing right now, anyway? ...huh. Nothing, according to IMDB. Well, that sucks. He should get hired to be on Stargate! Hell, they've hired everyone else.

ETA: Oh, wait, no, he's on The Young and the Restless.

Stargatey spoileryness -

Does anyone have any good pictures of Ben Browder? I'm trying to explain him to a Stargate watching friend of mine. Pictures might help explain why RDA leaving isn't the end of the world.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Jars, ben-browder.com has a decent image gallery. So much pretty. Can't pick.

Cheers! I guess I'll just have to look through them ALL then. The sacrifices I have to make...
