She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

I actually got away from the computer and watched BSG last night. I know, I'm a bad person (I'm an Evil Overlord, and I have a swivelly chair to boot, so duh I'm a bad person), but I honestly regret not making the effort to follow BSG. I wax poetical (and goofy) when talking about the beauty of the opening shots of "Water", and "33" makes me twitchy and short-tempered. I think I empathize with the characters too much. Erk.

Anyway: I knew knew KNEW that the end of last night's episode would make me facepalm. Baltar, you silly goose. You silly, silly, silly thwap goose.

I loved it, down to the pose, leaning against the railing.

Must. Own.

Art Crawl!!!

Hee. Isn't instrument another word for tool ?

White fonted only for folks like Jessica who will be watching this afternoon. And because whitefonting is fun.

Now I want to write a crossover where Daniel ends up as a Reaper, and has to keep his job with the Air Force while he does it.

I think that you should do this. Purely unselfish encouragement on my part, of course. cough

sumi - ha!

Hi, StuntHusband. Wait, I saw you post somewhere else with a shorter, actual name...? I have to say, 33 is what sold me on watching BSG (which, being the pilot, was convenient enough). I thought the mini was, you know, fine, but I wasn't sure I'd watch the series. I was so wrong.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Oh, don't whitefont on my account. I'm a big old spoiler ho anyway.

Plus, I just finished watching. Woo! The action was really well-directed. And I'm still digging Baltar, even in his current status as the Mayor of Twitchy Crazytown, Land of Crazonia in the Kingdom of Why The Fuck Hasn't Anyone Noticed He's Insane Yet? He's pretty and he amuses me, and I'm willing to handwave that everyone else is kind of busy and preoccupied.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Maybe everyone else is just thinking "genius = eccentric."

(slowly getting the hang of Buffistaspeak)

I'd say "hola!" or "yowdy!" or "greetings!" (or "greenthings and salivations, nerflings!") but y'all say "Timelies!" so...

Timelies, JenP (I just wrote "timelines" which shows my gamer-geek roots FAR too revealingly. Ahem.) Call me StuntHusband, or SH, or Not!Pete!, or Alex. I even answer to, "Hey, faggot!" when bellowed by Unca Jeffy (who is a gigantic straight man), usually across a crowded room of strangers.

sigh

Anyway. I honestly didn't anticipate the tactical choices in last night. But I'm a big character-change junkie, and I saw Baltar's "revelation" a mile off, like a huge slo-mo boulder hurled at 1rpm at my head. "No no no no no, mustn't happen, you DO know what this will do to him, right?"

Ayup.

spang

He wacko now. Buh-bye, nobody home. Just The Pose(TM) against the railing, and 6 all gloaty and must-punch-her-smug-teeth-out (yes, even her teeth are smug)

Loves it we do, preciousss.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Maybe everyone else is just thinking "genius = eccentric."

Eccentric? He's bug-fuck crazy.

Yep. I mean, there's a line, you know? Which he crossed light-years back.

Yeah, but what evidence of this have the other characters seen? Besides public masturbation, of course.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Just watched BSG. Good episode. Nifty, smart action sequences and some meaty religious stuff to chew on. I liked that when Baltar accepted the validity of Six's God, it was on his own terms--I mean, OK, he prayed to the God for his self-preservation when he was accused of being a Cyclon facilitator a couple of episodes back, but he didn't really mean it then. Here, he decided that the only rational explanation for his correctly guessing the target site was because he was guided by a divine hand, because to think otherwise was illogical. Very in character for Baltar.

The Pythian prophecies, etc. were all very cool but arrrrghhhh! Snakes! Why did it have to be snakes!
