...so, a novel should really be about 80 or 90k words, right?
Most of them, yeah, Fay.
But children's or young adult novels can be (and often are) much shorter, maybe 50K or 60K.
I'm aiming for about 90k, so that's cool.
(Have had writer's block for ages, and so put novel on backburner again. But have recently had an 'aha!' moment, and am now writing manically.)
It's all in the game.
