Jesse, all I get from that link is a blank page with a couple of VW ads in the left column. Weird...
The Great Write Way, Chapter Two: Twice upon a time...
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
That is weird. If you can get to www.gawker.com, you should be able to scroll down and get to it that way.
(And of course I meant "gawker" not "gothamist" in my post above.)
Tried that, and I got the same blank white page, except this time, the VW ads were along the top.
Huh.
Deborah - you using Firefox? Cause I can get to that link fine.
I can see it fine from Safari. Firefox is screwing things up more and more lately. I was a happy camper when I realized that Safari also has tabbed browsing.
I'm in basic netscape.
Works for me in IE (which usually sucks like a giant sucking thing).
Deborah.
You may want to upgrade to firefox at some point. In spite of all its problems Firefox works a lot better than basic netscape.
Pipe Dreams
While he was on the nod, she planned their escape. He’d asked her to move in, that was a good excuse to put her stuff in storage. She’d suggest a getaway, a drive up the coast. It would be easy. She’d drive. It was her car, and she would just keep going until they were in Idaho. It would only take a couple of days, not enough time for him to get suspicious. Her brother was in Idaho, he’d know what to do. He’d been through it himself.
It was a good plan. It never happened, of course.

On pay days, I think of cheap plane fares to Vegas. Of the help wanted sign on every casino. I could do janitorial, I'm smart enough to be a table dealer or something.
But escape by myself is not freedom, it's cowardice and dishonor. My soul is not yet so dead that I can consider abandoning him.
But on pay days, I think.
