Seriously, I'm kvelling because how often do you see "us" getting 'shipped with *anybody*? Well, okay, Louie DiPalma Learned A Lesson by dating a blind chick in a Very Special Taxi once. House's love life, gay or straight? Not gonna play out like that. That's a big deal. And it's not often that I'm watching somebody play disabled and not thinking things like "His posture's too perfect...her clothes are never rumpled! No fair.(Because oftentimes it can be difficult for me to maintain basic levels of "hevel" after all day...I can't be the only one!) But watching House use his cane to hold the door open feels completely real.

The Great Write Way, Chapter Two: Twice upon a time...
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
The book with Daymond is a go. Just got off the phone; he's having his office book me a flight to NY, early June.
Le WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
yay, Deb. Very cool.
WooHoo!!! Go deb!!
Wheeeeee! And I bet I know where you get to stay, you lucky duck.
And I bet I know where you get to stay, you lucky duck.
Heh. Just so long as I don't have to pay for a hotel, I'm good. But yes, the Trump would be splendiferous.
ROCK!
Although I'm still vibing for Nic's job.

Oh gods and little fishes, yes. Clarifying: I don't think the job he has will exist after this project is done. What I'm vibing for is that another local department at the company will need a Common Criteria expert. That way, we don't change anything but the department whose budget his salary comes out of, and the location of his office.
Deb, that is GREAT news about the book. I'm also holding good thoughts for Nic's situation.
I think I finally have something I'm not too embarassed to send out to beta. It's mushy, though. Uber-mushy. You've been warned. Your insulin levels are not the responsibility of the author.
