Right now, the working title in my own head, first suggestion I came up with, is Ten Women, Two Eyes: One Man's Look at the Women Who Shaped His world, by Daymond John, as told to Deborah Grabien.
That's an awesome title. In addition to being, of course, rocking good news.
I just love the "I'd really like a first draft by summer 2007".
suhNERK. Daymond, honey, I was thinking more of, oh, say, Halloween 2006.
Very contained "woo hoo!" because I've been "under consideration" at this mag before, and it came to bupkes, but Kaleidoscope is considering publishing my House article "They Used To Have More Respect for Cripples: Greg House and The Defective Detective Trope" as suggested by the lovely and talented Anne W.
They have the longest bio in the history of the world though, and when I posted this particular thing on lj, it was set upon by error-correcting fangirls.
So not quite unmitigated joy.
Definite pleasure, though.
A tentative yay, erika. Publishing~ma.
Thank you.
If this gets published, it may be the first mention of slash in a disability publication.
erika, I love the name of tthe article! Fingers crossed.
First title I ever wrote that I never had doubts about.
Careful crossing your fingers, AmyLiz. You risk looking like our target demographic. ;)
