You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ha! That's good. (eta:And so I have edited it in)

I forgot to tell you - I really liked your take on vampire hunters. It's a perspective I hadn't thought of, and that's always fun for me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I haven't read everybody's yet, but my eye lit on Raq's, and I just had to say, the last sentence sent a chill up my spine. The hairs on my arms stood to attention.

Whether I liked it or not is irrelevant. It worked.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Really loving all the drabbles this week. I want to mack on all of you guys, bringing the unexpected to them in such wonderful ways.

-t, I don't have a Wait Room, but I've got my Wait Shelf on the entertainment center. It mocks me everytime I pull out Buffy instead of Denise Austin.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

(if anyone wants to see the guy i'm dating, his URL is up in Bitches the next 4 minutes. Totally selfish FYI for those who don't frequent Bitches,)

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Awwww. Looks to be a sweetie, Erin.

Letter to Rowling tweaked, and sent. Now I wait, which is mostly what I seem to do with Big Name Blurbs, these days.

And of course, F2F has been All About Harry Potter for the last little bit, with Fay and Pete teasing madly away.

He is sweet. Yet evil. In a good way.

Hee. Okay, .

I wonder how long you'll have to wait for a yea or nay, Deb. I bet she gets a metric shitload of reqs.

Erin, that's one reason I made damned sure that the subject line specified the multiple sclerosis. I suspect that most of the blurb reqs she get are for straight blurbs. This is rather different. It's also why I included the chapter segment.

Good thinking.

Yep. It's also why we mentioned that Montel Williams knows about the Chronicles, and has made noise about doing a show featuring it, once the series is bought and published. He has the same flavour of the disease that killed Rowling's mother.

And Rowling just donated 2.5 million quid -that's, what, four million US dollars, these days? - to research. She's fierce and committed about it.
